Power and infrastructure matters often involve long-term contractual relationships, specialised regulation, technical issues and significant commercial interests. We advise and represent clients in electricity matters and related infrastructure disputes.

Our practice includes electricity matters and wheeling of electricity, together with the contractual and regulatory questions that may arise in connection with such arrangements.

We assist clients in understanding the legal and regulatory framework applicable to the matter and represent them in appropriate proceedings, including before the Supreme Court of India and the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL). Our experience also includes tender and constitutional matters relating to roads, bridges and highways.

Where an infrastructure dispute also involves contractual obligations, arbitration, project performance or regulatory decisions, we bring the relevant dispute-resolution and commercial capabilities into the overall strategy.
